Homestyle Chili Seasoning Mix is built for cozy, slow-simmered chili with deep flavor and just enough smoky heat. American chili powder creates the familiar classic base, while smoked paprika and chipotle add warmth and a subtle campfire-like depth.
Garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, mustard, celery seed, black pepper, maple sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, and nutritional yeast give the blend a fuller, more layered finish than a standard grocery-store packet. The cocoa and cinnamon are intentionally subtle—they do not make the chili sweet or dessert-like, but help round out the spice and bring richness to tomato-based sauces.
Use one packet with 1 lb of ground beef, turkey, chicken, pork, beans, lentils, mushrooms, or plant-based crumbles. It is designed for weeknight chili, game-day chili, chili mac, baked potato topping, chili dogs, nachos, stuffed peppers, and freezer-friendly meal prep.
